WHY WHITE GLOVE

The Hard Part Is Never the Truck

If you are reading this, you probably already know how a delivery goes wrong. The furniture shows up on time, but the freight elevator is booked, the building wants an insurance certificate nobody sent, and the crew leaves a stack of boxes in the lobby because “inside delivery” turned out to mean inside the front door. Now it is your problem, and the new conference table is sitting next to the security desk.

That is the gap white glove delivery is supposed to close, and it is where most of our Atlanta work starts. Flood Brothers is headquartered here. Our crews and our warehouse are here, so we can walk your building this week, sort out the elevator and the certificate with your property manager, and plan the carry before anything is loaded.

On delivery day the pieces come in wrapped and padded, the floors and door frames are protected, and everything goes to the spot on your drawing. Desks get built, tables get leveled, and the layout gets checked against the plan. When we leave, the packaging leaves with us and you have photos of every piece in place.

HOW WE WORK

Several Vendors, One Delivery

New offices rarely get everything from one source. Desks come from one vendor, seating from another, the art and the reception piece from somewhere else, all on different days. We can receive those shipments at our Atlanta warehouse, check each one when it arrives, and hold it until the set is complete. Then it all comes in together and gets installed in one visit, instead of your office becoming a loading dock for two weeks.

LOCAL KNOW-HOW

Atlanta Buildings Have Their Own Rules

A delivery into a Buckhead or Midtown tower is a different job from one into a Perimeter Center office park or a Westside showroom. The towers usually mean a loading dock shared with every other tenant, a freight elevator you reserve by the hour, and a property manager who will turn the truck away if the certificate of insurance is not on file with the right wording. Some buildings only let freight move before 7am or after 6pm.

The suburban campuses in Alpharetta, Sandy Springs and Cumberland are easier to get into but bigger to cover: long hallways, multiple buildings, and furniture going to three floors at once. And anything coming across the Connector at 4:30 on a weekday is going to be late, so we plan the drive the same way we plan the carry.

None of this is complicated if somebody deals with it ahead of time. That is the job.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

What Every Atlanta Delivery Includes

One crew and one point of contact from the walkthrough to the final photo.

  • Inside Delivery to the Drawing

Not curbside, not the lobby. Each piece goes to its room and its spot on your floor plan.

  • Blanket Wrap and Floor Protection

Pads on the furniture, runners on the floors, guards on the corners and door frames the whole way in.

  • Assembly and Placement

Desks built, tables leveled, seating set, and the layout checked against the plan before we call it done.

  • Receiving and Staging

Pieces arriving from different vendors on different days can be received at our warehouse and delivered together.

  • Photo Condition Report

Photos of every piece in place before we leave, so damage questions are answered with pictures, not memory.

  • Packaging Removal

Cartons, crates, foam and plastic leave with us. Your space is ready to use the minute we walk out.

THE PLAN

How a Delivery Runs

  1. Walk the Route

We look at the dock, the freight elevator, the hallway turns and the final room before move day, so the crew size and the protection match the building, not a guess.

  2. Book the Building

Elevator reservation, dock time and a certificate of insurance made out the way your property manager asks for it, all settled in writing ahead of time.

  3. Wrap, Carry, Place

Blanket-wrapped and padded, floors and door frames protected, and every piece set exactly where the drawing says, assembled and level.

  4. Clean Up and Sign Off

Packaging hauled away, protection pulled up, and a photo condition report before the crew leaves, so you have proof of how everything arrived.
