Our Story

From a First Installation Job to a Full-Service Commercial Mover

Flood Brothers started in 1997 with a simple reputation to protect: show up, do careful work, and leave the customer better than we found them. The early jobs were furniture and equipment installations, the kind of detailed, hands-on work where a careless crew shows immediately and a good one earns the next call. Businesses kept calling, and what they asked us to handle kept growing.

Over the years that work expanded into full commercial relocations, warehouse and plant moves, FF&E and fixture installation, secure storage, and nationwide logistics. The thing that did not change is how the work gets done: planned in detail, run by people who answer for the result, and measured by whether your operation stays on schedule. Today we move offices, warehouses, hospitals, manufacturing plants, and data centers, but we still treat every job like the one that earns the next one.

Why It Matters Who Shows Up

Your Move Runs on Our Own Employees

The biggest decision in a commercial move is made before a single box is loaded: who is actually doing the work. A lot of moving companies sell the job, then fill the truck with whoever the temp agency sent that morning. We do not work that way.

Flood Brothers runs on a 220-plus person, full-time in-house crew, trained, vetted, accountable, and on our payroll. The people who plan your move are the people who execute it, and the supervisor on site has done this hundreds of times. That continuity is why our clients trust us with equipment, timelines, and buildings they cannot afford to get wrong.

One Team, Every Step

A Single Accountable Partner, From Plan to Punch List

Commercial projects lose time and accountability in the handoffs between movers, installers, technology teams, storage providers, and closeout crews. Flood Brothers coordinates those disciplines through one plan and one responsible project manager.

We survey the site, sequence the work around your operation, stage assets when needed, and coordinate moving, installation, logistics, and decommissioning through final sign-off. The result is fewer gaps, faster decisions, and a shorter path back to full operation.

What We Stand On

The Standards Behind Every Job

  • Plan first. We survey the site, walk the route, and build a written plan before we quote, so the price and the schedule hold.
  • Own the result. One accountable manager runs your job end to end. Nothing gets handed off and forgotten.
  • Protect the operation. We phase and schedule the work to keep your business running, not shut it down.
  • Respect the building and the budget. Floors, walls, and elevators get protected; surprises do not get invented.
  • Leave it better. On decommissions we recycle, donate, and resell, diverting 98% of materials from the landfill.

Flood Brothers is a proud partner of BOMA, supporting the commercial property community through professional relocation, logistics, installation, and related services.
