Questions & Answers
What Facilities and Operations Teams Need to Know
Planning, Estimates & Timelines
-
The earlier the better. Most projects benefit from a 6 to 8 week runway to walk the sites, plan crews, and sequence the work. For large or multi-site moves, start the conversation as soon as target dates are known.
-
Origin and destination addresses, target dates, a scope of what's moving or being installed, and any building or operating constraints. A site walkthrough sharpens the quote significantly. Most projects get a written scope within one business day of the walk.
-
Yes. Phasing is how we protect uptime on active sites. Common patterns include night and weekend cutovers, floor-by-floor sequencing, department-by-department relocations, and staged shipments through our own warehousing.
-
A single project manager owns your move from the first walkthrough to final sign-off. That person handles the crew, dock and elevator reservations, building security, COIs, and the punch list.
Office & Corporate Relocation
-
Yes. Most corporate moves run on nights, weekends, or phased daytime shifts so employees return Monday to a ready workspace. Our 220+ in-house crew is scheduled around your operating hours.
-
Yes. Packing, labeling, furniture disassembly and reassembly, transport, and placement to the new floor plan are all handled by our in-house crews.
-
A color-coded labeling and floor-plan system tracks every workstation, private office, and shared space from origin to destination. Departments stay grouped and workstations land in the correct seat.
-
Yes. Dock reservations, elevator scheduling, COIs, security clearances, and building rules for both origin and destination are handled by your project manager. Property managers get one point of contact.
Warehouse, Industrial & Rigging
-
Yes. Racking, inventory, forklifts, and material-handling equipment are all part of our warehouse relocation service. We sequence around live throughput so orders keep shipping.
-
Anything heavy, oversized, or precision-tolerance. CNC machines, presses, production lines, medical imaging, industrial ovens, and large fitness or brewery equipment typically require rigging. We handle skating, transport, and re-leveling.
-
Yes. Active-site moves are standard for us. We phase the work, protect the areas that have to stay operational, and run crews on shifts that keep the business running.
-
Yes. Lease-end closeout covers furniture and IT removal, asset resale, donation, recycling, and broom-clean handover to the landlord. Most of what leaves the building gets diverted from landfill.
FF&E, Hospitality & Installation
-
Receiving, inspection, storage, staging, delivery to site, assembly, and installation to the floor plan. Damage and shortage reporting is built in. Our installers are trained and certified on cases goods and systems furniture.
-
Yes. Phased FF&E installs are standard for hotels, multi-floor offices, and rollout projects. We can sequence by floor, room type, or property so revenue-generating areas open first.
-
Every item is inspected on receipt and again at installation. Shortages, damages, and vendor issues are logged with photos, tracked in a punch list, and reported to your procurement team in real time.
-
Yes. Occupied-hotel work is a specialty. We phase installations around occupancy, work off-hours where needed, and stage material out of guest sight lines so the property keeps generating revenue.
Storage, Logistics & Nationwide Programs
-
Yes. 500,000+ sq ft of secure, monitored, racked warehousing for short-term staging, long-term asset storage, and swing space between locations. Inventory tracking is included.
-
Yes. We run multi-site programs with one project manager, one playbook, and consistent execution city to city. Nationwide coverage is direct through our own crews and vetted partners.
-
Yes. One team handles the entire chain: freight in, warehouse staging, final-mile delivery, and on-site installation. That's how we close the vendor gaps that usually cause schedule slippage.
-
The same project manager, playbook, and standards apply at every site. Crews follow identical labeling, sequencing, and reporting protocols so the tenth location runs as smoothly as the first.
Safety, Insurance & Accountability
-
Yes. Commercial general liability, cargo, and workers' compensation coverage. COIs are issued to name specific buildings, landlords, or property managers as needed.
-
Every project includes floor and wall protection, corner guards, elevator pads, and door-frame protection. Occupied areas are cordoned and traffic-managed so daily operations continue safely.
-
Change orders are documented in writing and priced against the original scope. Unexpected conditions (structural, access, hazardous materials) are escalated to the project manager and client before work continues.
-
Case studies are published on the site. Additional references and client contacts are available on request during scoping.
