Two-Site Tooling Center Decommissioning and Oversized Equipment Transport

The program covered two locations with different site conditions, equipment inventories and closeout requirements. Work extended beyond ordinary moving: the facilities needed office, warehouse and exterior areas cleared; racking and anchors removed; floors restored; and oversized tooling prepared for specialized transport.

Multiple trades, permitting requirements and transport dependencies had to stay aligned without losing control of schedule, documentation or site readiness.

Flood Brothers assigned centralized project oversight and sequenced each workstream around the turnover plan. Crews dismantled warehouse racking, ground and filled exposed floor bolts, restored affected concrete areas and coordinated supporting trades.

For oversized assets, the team planned crane access, trailer selection, securement and permitting as one integrated move plan. Progress documentation and reporting gave stakeholders a consistent view across both facilities.

Both facilities were brought through the required decommissioning scope with the major tooling assets prepared and transported through a controlled, documented process. According to the internal project record, the combined program was delivered under budget.
