Rack count is the starting point, but what actually drives the number is how much documentation and how tight the window is. A lift-and-shift of twenty racks over a weekend is very different from a phased migration with per-asset custody across four maintenance windows.
Escorted access adds hours, and in this market it is almost always required. We survey the environment, agree the sequence with your IT team, and put the scope in writing so you can see which constraint is costing you the most.

Draw this line early, because it is where projects go wrong. We handle the physical work: de-racking, protective packing, transport, re-racking to your elevation plan, and cable dressing.
Logical decommissioning, re-provisioning and anything under a manufacturer maintenance contract stays with your team or your vendor. We build the schedule around their availability. If a vendor has to break a seal to keep a warranty intact, we do not touch it.

Yes, escorted. Your security officer sets the rules and we plan the schedule around your access process rather than expecting it to bend for us. Crew lists go over in advance in whatever format you need.
What we will not do is claim a blanket clearance we do not hold. If an area needs cleared personnel we cannot supply, we say so early and plan for your people to handle that portion while we handle everything around it.
