Office Furniture Installation
Office Furniture Installation Done Right the First Time
You ordered new workstations, cubicles, benching, and casegoods, and now pallets are stacking up while your move-in date stays fixed. We receive, stage, assemble, and install your office furniture to manufacturer drawings with our own in-house crews, so your team walks into a finished, day-one-ready space instead of a floor full of cartons.

More Than Bolting Panels Together
What Office Furniture Installation Actually Takes
The furniture order looked simple on the quote. Then the trucks arrived. Dozens of cartons of panels, work surfaces, pedestals, and hardware land at your dock with no plan for where they go, the manufacturer drawings do not quite match field conditions, and a contract installer wants to bill extra the moment anything is off. Meanwhile your move-in date has not budged and your people expect a working desk on Monday morning. A botched install does not just look bad; it costs you days of lost productivity, change-order surprises, and furniture that wobbles or will not reconfigure later.
Office furniture installation is a trade of its own, and we treat it that way. It starts long before the first panel goes up. We receive your shipments, inspect every carton against the packing list and the install drawings, flag freight damage and shorts while there is still time to fix them, and stage the components in the right sequence so the floor does not turn into an obstacle course. From there our in-house crews build to manufacturer specification: workstations, cubicles, open-plan benching, height-adjustable desks, private-office casegoods, conference rooms, filing and storage, and demountable walls, then we punch-list every run before we call it finished.
This is one of Flood Brothers’ commercial installation services, delivery, installation, and sign-off handled by one in-house crew.

One Accountable Crew
The Same Team That Unloads the Truck Builds Your Floor
Because the same employees who receive and inspect your shipment are the ones building the floor, accountability stays in one place. Our installers know the major systems lines, the Herman Miller, Steelcase, and Haworth-type platforms, read the typicals and field drawings, and level and gang panels so runs stay true across a whole floor plate.
Behind the crew sits a single project manager who owns your job from the first delivery to final sign-off, scheduling the receiving window against your construction timeline and sequencing trades so installers are not standing idle waiting on the electrician or the carpet. When something ships short or damaged, we photograph it, log it against the bill of lading, and open the manufacturer claim the same day, instead of discovering it mid-install three weeks later.
How It Works
From Pallets at the Dock to Desks Ready to Work
-
Receive & Inspect
We take delivery of your furniture order, check every carton against the packing list and install drawings, and document freight damage or shorts the same day so claims open while there is still time to fix them.
-
Stage in Sequence
Components are inventoried and staged by floor and zone in the order they will be built, so the install runs clean instead of fighting a floor stacked with boxes.
-
Build to Spec
Our in-house crews assemble workstations, cubicles, casegoods, and walls to manufacturer specification, leveling and ganging panels and pulling power and data whips to the correct spine.
-
Punch & Hand Off
We walk the floor with you, build and close a punch list, haul away the cartons and packaging, and hand over a space where every desk is ready the moment your team sits down.
On Your Schedule, Not Ours
We Build the Floor While It Is Empty, So Monday Just Works
The fastest way to wreck an install is to do it around a working floor. We schedule the heavy work for nights, weekends, and holidays, phased zone by zone so your people are never trapped at a half-built desk and your operation keeps running while we assemble the next bank of workstations.
You tell us what has to stay live and when; we engineer the sequence to match. The result is the rare install where the cartons disappear overnight and your team sits down Monday to a finished, leveled, cable-managed, punch-listed floor, not a project that drags on for weeks.

Executive casegoods, credenzas, and conference tables set, leveled, and aligned to power and AV so private offices and meeting rooms are ready to use, not just assembled.
-
Filing, Storage & Demountable Walls
High-density filing, lateral and storage systems, plus demountable wall systems and glass fronts set plumb, and just as cleanly taken back apart when your floor plan changes.
-
Day-Two Moves, Adds & Changes
Offices never stop changing. We handle reconfigurations, department expansions, and internal moves long after install day, so additions match what is already on the floor.

Built to Change With You
Tweaks, Adds, and Reconfigurations for Growing Teams
The day-one install is only the start. Teams grow, departments shuffle, and you take the floor upstairs, and every one of those changes touches furniture. Because our crews built your floor in the first place, they already know your typicals, panel heights, and finishes, so an addition drops in matching what is already there instead of looking like an afterthought.
We tear down, relocate, and rebuild workstations correctly, add stations to an existing run, swap fabrics and worksurfaces, and reconfigure whole departments on nights and weekends so your people keep working. When a reconfiguration turns into a full move, the same crew carries it through a complete office relocation on one plan, and we can stage furniture in our own warehouse between phases.

Questions & Answers
Office Furniture Installation FAQs
General
-
Yes. With more than 500,000 square feet of secure warehouse space, we can take delivery of your order, inspect it against the packing list and install drawings, and stage it until your site is ready. That keeps cartons off your unfinished floor and gives us time to catch freight damage or shorts before they delay the install. See our storage and warehousing services.
-
We install the major office furniture and systems lines, Herman Miller, Steelcase, Haworth-type platforms and more, working from each manufacturer or dealer field drawing and typical so every unit is built to spec. Whether your product is open-plan benching, panel systems, modular casework, or demountable walls, our crews read the drawings and build it correctly the first time.
-
Every crew member is a full-time Flood Brothers employee. The same people who receive and inspect your shipment are the ones building the floor and standing behind the punch list. That accountability is the whole reason facilities teams call us.
-
Absolutely. We are available 24/7 and routinely schedule installs and reconfigurations for nights, weekends, and holidays. Your project manager builds the timeline around your busiest hours so the work happens when your floor is quiet and your team walks into a finished space.
-
Yes. We build to the manufacturer and dealer typicals and field drawings, square each run to the space, and reconcile drawings against actual field conditions before the floor is built. When a typical does not match the field or hardware is shorted on the packing list, we flag and resolve it before it stalls the install, not mid-build.
