More Than Bolting Machines Together

What Fitness Equipment Installation Actually Takes

Fitness equipment looks simple until the pallets show up. A single commercial build-out can mean dozens of cardio machines, racks and selectorized strength stations, a welded functional rig, free-weight storage, and thousands of square feet of rubber flooring, all arriving on freight trucks across several deliveries that rarely line up with your contractor’s schedule. If nobody plans the receiving, your equipment ends up stacked in a hallway, blocking the trades who still need to finish the room. That is the headache you do not want, and it is exactly the part most installers ignore.

Flood Brothers handles the whole sequence, not just the wrench work. We receive your shipments at our warehouse or your site, check them against the packing lists, and stage everything so it lands in the right room in the right order. Because our installers are our own employees, the crew assembling your treadmills and leveling your power racks is the same crew that knows how the rig anchors and how the flooring seams need to fall.

This is one of Flood Brothers’ commercial installation services, delivery, installation, and sign-off handled by one in-house crew.

Up the Stairs and Onto the Floor Plan

Heavy Units Moved, Placed, and Leveled Exactly Where They Belong

Commercial gym equipment is not light. A loaded selectorized stack, a plate-loaded leg press, or a section of welded rig can run several hundred pounds before a single plate goes on. Getting that steel from a freight dock up a stairwell or into a tight passenger elevator, without gouging a wall or wrecking the unit, is a rigging problem, not a furniture-delivery problem. Our crews bring the gear, the dollies, and the muscle to move it safely to the room it belongs in.

Once it is in place, every machine is set to your floor plan and spacing, squared, and leveled so weight stacks travel true and treadmills sit dead flat. We work from your layout so the room functions for real members and trainers, proper walkways, safe spacing around racks, and a rig positioned with the clearance it actually needs, not just whatever fit on the drawing.

How It Works

From Freight Truck to First Workout

  1. Receiving & Staging

We accept your freight deliveries at our warehouse or your site, check every pallet against the packing list, and flag damaged or missing items before they become an opening-day problem. Gear is staged to reach each room in the order the install needs it.

  2. Flooring & Turf First

Rolled and tile rubber flooring and functional turf are measured, cut, and fit with tight seams and no trip edges. We sequence the floor ahead of the equipment so every machine, rack, and rig lands on a finished surface.

  3. Assemble & Level

Cardio is built and powered up, strength stations are squared and torqued to spec, and functional rigs are anchored and plumbed level. The same in-house crew handles the heavy, awkward steel from start to finish.

  4. Walkthrough & Cleanup

We haul away the pallets, crating, and shrink wrap, then walk the finished floor with you to confirm every machine is assembled and running before we leave the space ready to use.

Commercial fitness equipment installation staged and sequenced before opening day

Built Around Opening Day

We Sequence the Install So Your Timeline Holds

Pre-opening schedules are unforgiving. Memberships are sold, the grand opening is on the calendar, and the equipment has to be running before the doors open. We build the install backward from your date, receiving freight early, staging it offsite when the room is not ready, and dropping it in the moment the floor is finished.

Most of the heavy work can run nights, weekends, and off-peak hours, so an operating gym, hotel amenity, or corporate fitness center keeps running while we build the new floor around the members. When the doors open, the floor is finished, not a punch list.

One Accountable Crew

The Crew That Receives Your Freight Is the Crew That Installs It

Our installers are Flood Brothers employees who know how the rig anchors and where the flooring seams need to fall, and a dedicated project manager keeps the install moving alongside your general contractor and equipment vendors.

That single point of contact sequences the work in the right order, flooring before strength, strength before the rig, and the rig before your group-fitness layout drops in, so nothing blocks the trades still finishing the room and your space is ready on schedule. It is the same disciplined approach we bring to FF&E installation on hospitality and corporate fit-outs.

What's Included

Full-Service Fitness Equipment Installation

From the loading dock to your first workout, every step handled by one accountable team.

  • Freight Receiving & Staging

We accept deliveries at our warehouse or your site, check every pallet against the packing list, and flag damage or shortages early. Equipment is staged so it reaches each room in the order the install needs it.

  • Cardio Assembly & Calibration

Treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, rowers, and stair climbers are assembled, powered up, and checked so consoles read correctly and machines run quietly, then positioned to your floor plan and spacing.

  • Strength & Selectorized Stations

Plate-loaded machines, selectorized units, and free-weight racks are squared, leveled, and torqued to manufacturer spec. Cable stations are routed and tensioned so weight stacks move smoothly and safely from the first rep.

  • Functional Rigs & Racks

Welded and modular training rigs, power racks, and storage are anchored to the floor, plumbed level, and assembled exactly to the manufacturer layout, heavy, awkward steel made solid and safe under load.

  • Rubber Flooring & Turf

Rolled and tile rubber flooring and functional turf are measured, cut, and fit tight with clean seams and no trip edges, sequenced ahead of equipment so machines and racks land on a finished surface.

  • Teardown, Relocation & Storage

Upgrading or moving locations? We disassemble, transport, and reinstall your existing equipment with the same in-house crew, with 500,000+ sq ft of secure warehouse to stage gear when your build runs behind.
